Ingredients

  • 1/2 celery stalk (20 g).
  • 1/4 red onion (10 g).
  • 12 slices of tomato.
  • 12 slices of whole grain bread.
  • 2 cans of natural tuna (200 g).
  • 1/2 cup of plain yogurt (100 g).
  • 2 scoops of Dijon mustard (20 g).
  • 2 tablespoons of mustard beans (20 g).
  • 1/2 cup of chopped fresh cilantro (80 g).
  • Arugula leaves (of your choice).

Method of preparation

  1. Place the plain yogurt together with the two types of mustard in a bowl. Stir until the ingredients are well combined.
  2. Drain and add the tuna.
  3. Add the cilantro, celery and onion, chopped into very fine pieces.
  4. This mixture should be well mixed. Cover with film and set aside in the refrigerator for half an hour.
  5. To assemble the sandwich place six slices of bread on the table. Grease with the mixture and add arugula leaves and a slice of tomato.
  6. Place the other slice of bread on top and apply light pressure so that the sandwich is very compact.

Deli-style tuna sandwich

Ingredients

  • 1/2 onion (15 g).
  • 1 can of tuna (150 g).
  • 2 slices of bread.
  • Mayonnaise to taste.
  • 3 lettuce leaves.
  • Butter to taste.
  • 1 ripe or greenish tomato (30 g).

Method of preparation

  1. After removing all the oil that comes in the can,  put the tuna in a bowl and crush them with a fork.
  2. Add mayonnaise to taste, and mix well.
  3. Cut the onion into slices, juliennes or small squares.
  4. Wash the lettuce well and cut the leaves into small pieces. Mix well with tuna, mayonnaise and onion.
  5. Heat the bread slices and butter them with a little butter.
  6. Place the sliced ​​tomato on one of the slices.
  7. On the other slice, place the mixture and cover, squeezing a little so that it is easy to eat.

 Tuna sandwich with asparagus

Ingredients

  • 1 small onion (20 g).
  • Butter for bread.
  • 1 glass of milk (optional).
  • 2 slices of loaf bread.
  • 1 small can of sweet corn (70 g).
  • 4 raw spinach leaves or lettuce.
  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise (20 g).
  • 1 can of tuna in sunflower oil (150 g).
  • 1 jar of asparagus heads (100 g).

Method of preparation

  1. Chop the onion into very fine pieces and set aside in a medium bowl.
  2. Completely empty the oil from the tuna can. When the tuna is completely dry, mix it with the onion in the bowl. Reserve.
  3. Add three tablespoons of sweet corn to the mixture.
  4. Pour the two scoops of mayonnaise into the bowl. Mix all ingredients well. Reserve.
  5. Wash spinach leaves or lettuce and dry with a cloth.
  6. Over a low heat in a medium skillet,  heat each slice of bread with a generous amount of butter until melted and the bread toasts a little.
  7. When the slice of bread turns golden on one side, place it on a plate. The procedure is repeated with the other slice.
  8. Place the bread with spinach, tuna stuffing and asparagus on a plate. Cover with the other slice.
